“My son and his friends loved the clinic and we absolutely will be attending the next one... We've shared with our teammates and their parents how much he enjoyed the clinic and everything he got out of it. I'm sure many if not all of them will want to attend the next one.”

Frequently Asked Questions
We're more than a sports clinic — we're a nationwide bridge connecting youth athletes (as players) to college athletes (as coaches). At Athlinics, our mission is threefold: Improve, Develop, Educate. Our focus is on honing skills, fostering personal growth, and imparting valuable insights about the next step in the athletic journey.
Our clinic model is well tested with continuous proven success. We run a rotational program where participants are divided into appropriate groups dependent on age and skill level.
Each group will have the opportunity to work with each collegiate athlete/coach. With every rotation, a coach focuses on improving a specific skillset (ball handling, dribbling, finishing/shooting, defensive work, etc.).
For the remainder of our clinic, we run a small session of scrimmages followed by our educational portion that includes group conversations with Q&A.
Yes! We take into account each participant’s age and skill level to form smaller groups that are appropriate for each individual.
There is a minimum of 3 collegiate athletes/coaches. To ensure a strong coach to participant ratio, there can be up to 5 athletes (dependent on the number of participants).
In order to maintain a meaningful experience, we target a strong coach to participant ratio of 1 to 9 (our maximum ratio is 1 to 16).
Absolutely, all skills levels are welcome.
Yes, we frequently sell out our clinics in order to keep a strong coach to participant ratio.
Either! Parents are welcome to watch the clinic or drop off and pick up.
The only requirement is that a parent/guardian signs the liability waiver, as indicated in the sign up flow.

The Foundation Program includes 3 total sessions:
• 1 Assessment Session
• 1 Mentorship Session
• 1 Development Session
The Advanced Program includes 6 total sessions:
• 1 Assessment Session
• 2 Mentorship Sessions
• 3 Development Sessions
The Foundation Program provides a strong introduction to the key topics within the Athlinics Mentorship Program. Athletes complete their Assessment Session, work through the core mentorship guidance, and then follow up with a Development Session to review progress, reinforce what was learned, and refine next steps. The Development Session can be scheduled anytime within 3 months of purchase.
The Advanced Program is designed for athletes who want a deeper and more structured mentorship experience over a longer period of time. With an additional mentorship session and multiple development sessions, athletes are able to track progress, revisit goals, and continue refining their development as they grow. These Development Sessions can be scheduled at any point within 9 months of purchase, allowing athletes and families to space them out in a way that best supports their development.
The Assessment Session lays the foundation for the entire mentorship journey. It clearly defines the program’s purpose, structure, and expectations while aligning on goals from the start. During this session, we assess the youth athlete’s personal and athletic goals to ensure the program is tailored to their individual aspirations. The athlete is introduced to the core developmental focus of the program and begins building a strong, trusting relationship with the Program Director, setting the tone for meaningful growth throughout the remaining sessions.
Who's in the Session: Director & Youth Athlete
The Mentorship Session(s) is the core experience of the program, where youth athletes engage directly with a college athlete mentor through a structured, intentional curriculum. These sessions are designed to develop the skills, habits, and mindset needed to succeed both on and off the field.
Athletes gain real world insight from someone who is actively navigating the college athletic experience, creating an authentic and relatable learning environment. Each session is interactive and personalized, allowing athletes to set goals based on their individual needs while receiving practical guidance and accountability.
Who's in the Session: Director, College Athlete & Youth Athletes
The Development Session is where growth turns into action. In this focused session, youth athletes connect directly with the Program Director to reflect on recent experiences, evaluate progress, and identify clear next steps. The session is intentionally structured to reinforce accountability while providing personalized guidance aligned with the athlete’s goals. This conversation ensures clarity, direction, and continued momentum moving forward.

If your athlete prefers, they can join with audio only instead of using their camera, so they can participate comfortably while still engaging fully in the session.
How far apart should I schedule the Assessment and Mentorship Sessions?
Ideally, these sessions should be scheduled between 2 days and 3 weeks apart. This provides enough time to reflect on the insights from the Assessment Session before moving into the Mentorship Session, while still keeping momentum in the program.
Spacing the sessions within this window also allows you to plan your Development Session further out, giving you time to apply what you’ve learned and track progress before your next check-in.
For the Foundation Program, the Development Session should be scheduled within 3 months of purchasing the program. This session serves as a follow-up to review progress, revisit goals, and ensure the athlete is applying what was covered in the mentorship sessions.
For the Advanced Program, athletes have 9 months to complete their 3 Development Sessions. These sessions can be spaced out at times that make the most sense for your schedule and development. Many athletes use them as periodic check-ins with the Program Director to review progress, adjust goals, and continue refining their development over time.
Creating an account allows you to access and manage your mentorship sessions after booking. Once your purchase is complete, you’ll sign into your account to schedule sessions, view upcoming bookings, and manage your mentorship program.
Your account will also track the sessions included in your program. Athletes in the Foundation Program receive access to 3 total sessions, while athletes in the Advanced Program receive access to 6 total sessions. This ensures everything related to your mentorship experience is organized and easily accessible in one place.
Athletes should plan to join their session from a quiet space where they can focus and comfortably have a conversation with their mentor.
It can also be helpful to have something to take notes with, as many athletes like to write down key insights, goals, or action steps that come up during the session. Other than that, they simply need to come ready to learn, ask questions, and engage in the conversation.
Yes. After key sessions, the Program Director will send a brief email recap outlining the goals established during the Mentorship Session, as well as progress updates following the Development Session(s).
These reflections help keep parents informed about what was discussed, the direction of the athlete’s development, and the progress being made throughout the program.
The Athlinics Mentorship Program is designed primarily for youth athletes, allowing them to take ownership of their development and have direct conversations with the director and their mentor.
At the end of each session, parents are welcome to briefly join if they have questions or would like additional insight into what was discussed. This allows parents to stay informed while still giving the athlete space to engage fully in the mentorship experience.
We’re always happy to help. If you have any questions about the mentorship program, booking sessions, or anything else, feel free to reach out.
