Athlete Journey

Logan Oliver is a Division I Men’s Soccer player at the University of Pittsburgh and a Finance major in the College of Business Administration. Competing at both the highest collegiate level and the professional level has helped him form character, humility, and gratitude for the game of soccer and the surrounding community.

Prior to his time at the University of Pittsburgh, Logan was born and raised outside of Baltimore, Maryland. At the age of 11, he began playing for the Philadelphia Union and made further commitments in his attempt to become a professional by moving with his family to Philadelphia beginning in 9th grade. He spent a semester at Indiana University, Bloomington, before transferring to Pitt.

Personal Approach

Beyond the field, Logan is deeply rooted in community and faith. He has strong relations with family and friends despite the dispersed locations of those that he cares for. Logan believes attitude is everything in sports. He trains athletes to compete with joy, humility, gratitude, and courage (pursuing action amidst fear) — while also understanding the importance of love and appreciation. His faith plays a central role in how he approaches mentorship, emphasizing character both on and off the field.

His mission is simple: help players win and have fun while doing it.
