Service Description

The Mentorship Session is the core experience of the program, where youth athletes engage directly with a college athlete mentor through a structured, intentional curriculum. These sessions are designed to develop the skills, habits, and mindset needed to succeed both on and off the field. Athletes gain real world insight from someone who is actively navigating the college athletic experience, creating an authentic and relatable learning environment. Each session is interactive and personalized, allowing athletes to set goals based on their individual needs while receiving practical guidance and accountability. Key Focus Areas: School and Athletics Balance Athletes learn how academics, training, and game days work together to support long term success as a student athlete. Mentors share firsthand strategies on managing time, priorities, and expectations at the collegiate level. Setting Goals Athletes are guided through setting meaningful short term and long term goals using the SMART framework. This ensures goals are clear, measurable, and aligned with their development. Skills and Drills Mentors introduce drills and training ideas that develop technical ability, simulate game realistic moments, and promote consistent training habits outside of team practices. College Recruiting and Navigating the Soccer Journey Athletes explore different soccer pathways, recruiting timelines, communication strategies with coaches, and how to identify the right academic and athletic fit for their future. Work Ethic and Habits The session emphasizes building discipline, consistency, and daily routines that separate good players from great ones. Mentality and Mindset Athletes develop the mental habits required to stay focused, confident, and resilient through challenges, competition, and setbacks.
